Business Central Team Members is a user type in the Business Central software product. Privileges of Business Central Team Members License

Business Central Team Members is a license that provides limited access to Business Central. The following are the privileges of the Business Central Team Members license:

• Limited write access: Business Central Team Members have limited write access to the system. They can create and edit certain types of records, such as customer and vendor records, but they cannot create or edit other types of records, such as sales orders or purchase orders.
• Time and expense entry: Business Central Team Members can enter time and expenses into the system. This includes creating and submitting timesheets and expense reports.
• Approvals: Business Central Team Members can approve certain types of records, such as timesheets and expense reports.
• Limited reporting: Business Central Team Members can view certain types of reports, but they cannot create or modify reports.

Differences between Business Central licenses

There are three main licenses for Business Central: Business Central Essentials, Business Central Premium, and Business Central Team Members. The differences between these licenses are as follows:

• Business Central Essentials: This license provides core financial management features, such as general ledger, accounts payable, and accounts receivable. It also includes sales and purchase management, inventory management, and project management. Business Central Essentials is licensed by assigned user.
• Business Central Premium: This license includes all the features of Business Central Essentials, as well as additional capabilities such as service order management, manufacturing management, warehouse management, and job management. Business Central Premium is also licensed by assigned user.
• Business Central Team Members: This license provides unrestricted access to certain features of the software, such as viewing and editing items, customers, vendors, and other records. However, it does not provide access to financial management features, such as general ledger, accounts payable, and accounts receivable. Business Central Team Members is licensed by assigned user.
